Fritz Becker, a German pharmacologist, started the Sixtus
Company in 1935. He used his knowledge
of the natural healing power of Alpine herbs to create the Sixtus range of
ointments, oils and balms. His products,
made from Alpine herb essences soon gained recognition in medical and sporting circles
and Sixtus began to supply the German Olympic team and other international
sports associations.
Today Sixtus is run by the two sons of its founder, who
continue to uphold their father’s traditions as well as improve their product effectiveness
using the latest scientific findings.
